The European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) has launched the first survey for unmanned aircraft system (UAS) manufacturers (drones and kits) to assess the existing trends and future growth of the drone domain on the EU civil market. This information will be used to support the future development of the regulatory material on UAS.
EASA is encouraging manufacturers (designing drones and kits to be installed on drones, providing additional systems, such as parachutes, flight termination systems, etc.) to respond to the survey by February 9, 2024.
If you are a drone or kit manufacturer, you can help EASA by providing your input here.
Aero EDIH recognizes that this is an important initiative from EASA and we encourage our fellow companies within the drone business to contribute!
